As Americans Tell China, Stop Killing Peasants, We Kill Peasants in Muslim Lands
By Elaine Meinel Supkis
The NYT name for the photo here is "Desert Protectors" as we see our storm troopers herding helpless, dirt poor peasants into a helicopter to be flown to some horrible place to be tortured. Meanwhile, the same American press hisses at China for killing dirt poor peasants!
From the NYT:
The Nazis did this a lot. So did the Japanese when they tried to subdue China. This is typical. We find quislings willing to turn in neighbors and then we do the dirty work. Israel does this which is why such informers are assassinated by outraged Palestinians. Who likes a ratfink? Especially one working for an alien invading force? Eh? Would you want your neighbors dropping dimes on you if you were against some invader? Look at France during WWII!
On the final day of a town-to-town military sweep in November along the Euphrates River, hundreds of men in Ar Rabit, a farming village, were rousted from their homes by American and Iraqi troops and shepherded into long rows on a harvested cornfield.
With the help of a group of locally recruited informants, most with their faces concealed by balaclavas and scarves, the troops pulled 12 suspected insurgents from the lineup, bound them in handcuffs and blindfolds, and took them away.
Meanwhile, in China, the poor peasants resisting the loss of land are being shut down and shut up. They will be, like the peasants in Iraq, severely punished for defying the capitalist authorities who steal from peasants whenever possible, they being poor and helpless! From Yahoo:
You know, if anyone in America dares throw molotov cocktails and bricks at cops when protesting, they too, are shot dead. Instantly. All you have to do is march in the wrong place and stop traffic and the cops will smash your head in and beat you to a pulp here! We are so cowed, we just shuffle from place to place, seeking refuge, hoping by moving we will find Shangri La La Land and all will be well and we will win the lottery. The government here has put in place anti-consitutional laws to insure a rock solid police state if we do balk like these poor peasants.
Armed with guns and shields, hundreds of riot police sealed off a southern Chinese village after fatally shooting as many as 20 demonstrators and were searching for the protest organizers, according to villagers and a newspaper report Saturday.
If that death toll is confirmed it would be the deadliest known use of force by security forces against Chinese civilians since the killings around Tiananmen Square in 1989, and marked an escalation in the social protests that have convulsed the Chinese countryside.
During the demonstration Tuesday in Dongzhou, a village in southern Guangdong province, thousands of people gathered to protest the amount of money offered by the government as compensation for land to be used to construct a wind power plant.
As the budding new Soviet State of America, we are picking up all those nifty KGB tools and forging relationships nearly identical to the KGB ones Eastern Europe loved so much. From Alert Net:
Poland is asking for more money so we can run their military for them and in return they will help us torture Muslim peasants and the intelligensia working with the peasants. America has killed off any form of left wing activity in Muslim lands, note the mess in Egypt! The "elections" there turned into a total farce as the only remaining opposition to the American/Israeli puppet prime minister is the fearful Muslim Brotherhood who, unlike Nassar, are religious right wingers and are now wildly popular compared to the ruler of Egypt, a hopelessly corrupt man who depends of billions in American money to keep in power. Like all the others, he oppresses peasants. Looking at pictures of the military attacking voters in Egypt, desperately trying to prevent them from voting or going to rallies or anything, it is obvious who the "enemy" is: Peasants.
Poland was the heart of the CIA's secret detention network in Europe until recently, an analyst of the U.S.-based Human Rights Watch organisation was quoted as telling a Polish newspaper.
"Poland was the main base for CIA interrogations in Europe, while Romania played more of a role in the transfer of detained prisoners," analyst Marc Garlasco was quoted on Friday by Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza as saying in an interview.
He said the allegations were based on information from CIA sources and other documents obtained by Human Rights Watch. "We have leads, circumstantial evidence to check but it's too early to reveal them," Garlasco said.
Across the planet, the peasants are on the move, quite literally. In South America, as real elections happen, more and more people supporting the needs and desires of these peasants are rising in power. As the American empire concentrates on oppressing dirt poor peasants in Muslim lands, the iron control over peasants in South America is slipping. From Euronews:
Chile's presidential election campaign has drawn to a close with polls showing the country could be about to vote in its first woman leader. The goal of any oppressive regime is to detatch the intelligensia from the peasants. Successful social change only happens when the two join together. In Egypt, since the rulers snuffed out liberalism, only radicalized religious activists remain on the battlefront for the rulers dare not suppress them or there will be instant rebellion so they try to co-opt it all. From the Chicago Tribune:
Leftist candidate Michelle Bachelet is leading in surveys, although she may not get the 50 per cent of votes needed to avoid a run-off ballot in January.
The doctor, who is a former defence minister, was imprisoned and tortured during the Pinochet dictatorship.
She has campaigned on a promise to continue the free-market reforms and social programmes of President Ricardo Lagos, who cannot run for re-election this time around.
Police barricaded polling stations and fired tear gas and rubber bullets Wednesday to keep supporters of the banned Muslim Brotherhood from voting in the final day of parliamentary elections. At least eight people were killed, including a 14-year-old boy.In Egypt, it is obvious a revolution of some kind is going to happen if things continue the way they are going. Namely, the religious peasants gain nothing by supporting the regime at this point so open rebellion is flaring spontaneously and will only increase over time. The military is still willing to shoot unarmed peasants but they are on the verge of switching sides, this always happens very suddenly, the rulers of Egypt will command they shoot peasants and suddenly, the officers are shot dead and the troops storm the palace. I expect this to happen within the next ten years unless liberalism is extended again, haha. As if. The last thing America wants are pesky peasants actually voting.
Supporters of the banned Brotherhood fought back, hurling stones and Molotov cocktails and cornering security forces in some towns.
The last day of the vote, which stretched over a month, was by far the most violent. At least 10 people have been killed during the three rounds of balloting, which began Nov. 9 and are considered a key test of President Hosni Mubarak's pledge to open the autocratic political system.
Hundreds have been wounded and more than 1,000 arrested, mainly supporters of the banned fundamentalist Brotherhood, which has fielded candidates as independents.
Back to Iraq, it disgusts me to see our military reduced to stomping on rag-tag men wearing rags. The world's biggest empire, trembling with fear in front of these determined but tremendously poor people, disgusts me. Far from being proud, it sickens me.
But then, history is a long chronicle of the well fed, well dressed stomping on the hungry, those dressed in rags. I recall Jesus talking about all this. I remember, he was on the side of the ragged peasants, not the rich. Camels through needles and all that stuff.
Which brings us to the entire "Peace on Earth, Good Will Towards Man" stuff. Christmas stuff. Stuff the right wing hates. The war against Christmas is also the war against the peasants.
